Hello Friends!

Have you ever held onto a dietary label (i.e. Vegan, Paleo, Gluten-Free, Carnivor, Fruitarian, etc.) just for the sake of holding onto it, even if it wasn’t working right for you? Or have you ever found that dietary labels have helped make your journey towards health much more tangible and easier to follow? Or has there come a point in your life when you feel like you no longer need a label in order to allow yourself a little bit of dietary wiggle room?

Well, if you can say yes to one of these, then this video is for you.  Learn about the good, the bad and the darn right ugly side of being a dietary labeler.

What’s your experience with dietary labels? Comment below!

Great video Melissa and so true. Was Vegan for quite awhile and it hindered my relationships.

yes, it can defitely be a difficult balance at times having a plant based diet when those around you don’t. I find that the label vegan causes separation in itself, whereas friends and family may not question you if you were to solely eat primarily plant based without announcing it. Ultimately it’s about finding balance for you.

    I love this woman!!!!
Food is to be enjoyed with awareness of where it comes from and how it’s made, education is the way in my opinion! Labels help feeling a sense of belonging and identity but hey love yourself and listen to your body first!!!
    Thanks Meli!!
